Matching matters
A repair that stands out is a repair done twice. We match brick type, colour and bond, and source reclaimed bricks where the age of the wall warrants them.
Lime or cement
Pre-war walls were built in lime mortar. Repointing them in hard cement traps moisture and damages the brick faces — so we repair with lime on older walls.

What is tuckpointing?
Tuckpointing sharpens up rendered or painted brick by cutting a thin line along the mortar beds and filling it with a contrasting mortar to make the joints stand out.
Do you repoint listed buildings?
Yes. Listed buildings need careful repointing in lime mortar to match the original. We work with local planning where needed and use traditional methods and materials.
