Drylining, plastering & damproofing

Interior finishing matters. We carry out drylining and plasterboard work on structural alterations and new builds, plaster finishes, and damproofing where moisture is a concern.

After a wall removal or structural alteration, the opening is left clean and ready for plaster. We also tackle damp walls, rising damp and moisture protection in basements and ground-floor rooms.

What’s included

  • Drylining and plasterboard installation
  • Stud partition walls
  • Plaster finishes — skimmed and textured
  • Internal making good after structural work
  • Damproofing — rising damp treatments and chemical barriers
  • Tanking and waterproofing for basements and cellars
  • Moisture control and ventilation solutions
  • Fire protection plasterboarding where required

Worth knowing before you book anyone

Damp diagnosis first

Before damproofing, we establish the cause — rising damp, penetrating damp, or condensation — because the fix depends on what is happening.

Finishes on structural work

After a steel installation or wall removal, the plaster finish is left to specialist plasterers. We prep the work and leave it ready for their team.

Drylining, plastering & damproofing: your questions answered

Do you carry out damproofing?

Yes. We diagnose the damp — rising damp, penetrating damp or condensation — and carry out the appropriate treatment, from chemical barriers to tanking in basements.

Can you install fire protection plasterboard?

Yes. Steel beams and other structural elements sometimes need fire protection; we install plasterboard systems to building control's requirements.

Do you leave walls ready for decoration after drylining?

Yes. Plasterboard is filled, taped and finished ready for paint or wallpaper.
