Structural work is all we do

The Load Bearing Company exists because the structural stage of a renovation is the part most general builders like least — and the part where getting it wrong costs the most.

We install steel beams, remove load-bearing walls and handle the small structural jobs across Cheshire and the North West. Because it’s all we do, the kit is always on the van — props, needles, lifting gear — and the crew has done your job’s type dozens of times before.

How we work

Every job starts with a proper survey and ends with building control sign-off. In between, we coordinate the structural engineer, serve party wall notices where they’re needed, protect the house, and leave the opening ready for plaster. You get one point of contact and a completion certificate at the end — the piece of paper your solicitor will ask for when you sell.

Who we work with

Roughly half our work is directly for homeowners; the other half is fit-only steel installation for builders, kitchen companies and loft converters who want the structural stage done by people who do it every day. Both get the same standard of temporary works and the same paperwork.
